Fall Showcase - School's In Session

Miss Nelson Is Missing

Miss Nelson can't control her crazy classroom because she's just too nice. But when she disappears, her replacement is the hard-as-nails, detention-loving, recess-canceling, homework-overloading substitute teacher Viola Swamp! With the Big Test approaching, the kids suddenly realize how much they miss Miss Nelson and they'll do anything -- including hiring a private eye -- to solve the mystery of her disappearance and bring her back.

Math

Algebra should be illegal! At least that’s what Dahlia told her dad, who took her complaints straight to the school board. Now, parents are protesting polynomials, and algebra is outlawed at Dahlia’s school. Math books are considered dangerous, and teachers are closely watched to make sure they don’t talk about radicals. But Dahlia’s starting to think that maybe math isn’t all that bad . . . If Dahlia’s father is already on his way to the capitol to introduce a bill banning algebra from schools across the state, how fast will Dahlia have to travel to stop him?

Indiana Junior Thespian Conference

Each year, troupes attend the Junior Thespian Conference to compete in the one-act play competition and attend workshops. We offer a community where these students can come together to learn, share, and celebrate theatre.

Mystery Dinner Theatre

The Great Middle School Whodunit

Dudley Middle School is hosting the Annual Dudley Banquet to honor the Dudley Family for their continued (and gracious) support of the school. During the special event, Mrs. Dudley’s ring — which she placed in the school safe for security — is stolen. Fortunately, a stranger appears — an FBI agent — ready to conduct the investigation. Except. . .a second stranger arrives, also claiming to be an agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. One is the real article. One the infamous jewel thief, Jack of Hearts.

Indiana State Thespian Conference

Each year the Indiana Thespians State Conference gathers nearly 1000 middle and high school Thespians, Future Thespians, and their directors for a weekend of workshops, performances, keynote speakers, and FUN!
