Visit the Fair Test website to see if the college you're applying to requires test scores!
Since 2020, over 1900 colleges and universities nationwide have become "Test Optional" or "Test Free." This means that students are no longer required to take or submit their standardized test scores in order to apply!
Test Optional schools will only take test scores into consideration AFTER a student has been accepted for course placement. Test Free schools do not want to see a test score at all!
While a number of schools still require an official test score, most will accept either the SAT or ACT.
