We strive to create a space where students from all majors and the broader community can come together to learn, collaborate, and build. With the resources of this lab, people can turn ideas into reality—creating what they once thought was impossible while connecting with others who can help bring their visions to life. Through seminars and events, we foster interactions between individuals who might not otherwise have the chance to collaborate.
Who Brings the MakerSpace to Life?
Who Brings the MakerSpace to Life?
Two groups of students help shape and sustain the MakerSpace:
The MakerSpace Board – A team of students who provide leadership, direction, and energy to the space, ensuring its continued growth and success.
The Employee Team – The hands-on, customer service side of the MakerSpace. They maintain the space, assist students, and teach equipment usage to ensure accessibility for all.
Students can choose to apply as either a Board Member or an Employee, but dual roles are not permitted to maintain clarity in responsibilities and commitments.

Board MemBERS
The Board designs activities and events, provides recommendations for operational procedures, determines desired equipment, and facilitates software and safety protocols. Board members are volunteers within a student organization, dedicated to shaping the MakerSpace and fostering a collaborative environment.
Employee Teammates
Employee Teammates
The Employees serve as the customer service team of the MakerSpace, ensuring the space remains accessible to students, maintaining equipment, and teaching others how to use the tools effectively. Student Employees are paid based on experience.
