Ms. Dani

Hello! My name is Dani Mitchell and I am very excited to be your child's teacher! This will be my 10th year teaching at FSDB and I am very lucky and blessed to be doing what I love! I am also thrilled to be co-teaching with Lauren Alex for the second year in a row! We make a GREAT team. I grew up in southwest Florida in a small beach town. I've always been a Florida girl! One of my favorite things in the world is spending time with my family. I have two older brothers and an older sister. Being in a house full of my family with our pets, laughter, and chaos is one of my favorite places to be! I am blessed with an incredible village and hanging out with my friends makes my heart so happy. I deeply cherish relationships with my family, friends, and my students at school. I absolutely love my dog, Phelps and I enjoy taking him to the beach and going on long walks with him. Of course, we also love snuggling. A fun fact about me is that in middle school, my family and I took a trip to St. Augustine so that I could take a tour of Flagler College and FSDB. At that moment I said to myself, “I am going to go to school here, and teach there.” That had been my mind set and drive to do well in school and my goals were achieved. Every day I remind myself how blessed I am.
