Touch typing skills are still a necessary skill for students to learn. This course is determined to show students how to use touch typing skills to key documents faster and more accurately, following formatting learned in class.
This year, students will be using Google docs as well as Microsoft Word to create business documents. We will follow full block formatting and students will leave this course understand how to use formatting tools to create business style documents they will use in their futures.
With courses being Hybrid for some and distant for others, the work for class will be posted online for students, with copies of the book being provided weekly for students linked to the left of the weekly work listed below. Final weekly work is due weekly, unless other arrangements are made.
Students will be completing some work in school, some at home or possibly all at home. They can complete the weekly typing assignments on a single document, separating it by the day of the week. Once we get into projects, the directions will be updated on the website.
Any questions should be directed to Mr. Gordon at jgordon@frontiercsd.org
