Library Information Literacy (grade-specific):  Library Behavior, Library Procedures, Library Terminology, Library Map/Shelving, Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC)/Destiny Discover, High Plains Library District Catalog, Literacy Websites, Online Author/Book sites, Literacy Apps, Parts of a book, Fiction vs. Non-fiction, Non-fiction Studies, Genre Studies, Poetry Studies, E-books, Audiobooks, Award Books (Caldecott, Newberry, Coretta Scott King, Geisel, Pura Bupre)

Makerspace: Self-directed learning through hands-on exploration activities in areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Emphasis on The Colorado Department of Education’s defined “Colorado’s 21st Century Skills” skills:  critical thinking and reasoning, collaboration, self-direction, invention, and information literacy.
