"Please join me in congratulating the following students who placed into one of the three Region Orchestras. The audition is competitive, with students going up against Prosper and McKinney ISD. As an example, one of the violin auditions involved over 200 students auditioning for just 40 spots.
Vandeventer did very well, with 24 students placing into one of the groups, and 4 students selected as alternates, which was the highest number of students placed out of any school in all 3 districts!"
