Mrs. Akbar

Hello,

My name is Mirfath Akbar, and I am so excited to start an amazing year with you! This will be my fourth-year teaching in FISD. I taught Pre-K at McSpedden Elementary school in FISD for 3 years and this will be my first year at Smith Elementary. I am so thrilled to be a part of this community.

My family consists of my husband and two sons who are both in FISD.  When I’m not teaching, I love hanging out with my family and friends, going on hikes, working out at the gym or reading books.

Teaching little kids is truly my passion and I cannot wait for another exciting year of getting to know your family and kiddos!
