Mrs. Kothera

Hi there! I’m Mrs. Kothera, and I’m so excited to be teaching 4th grade here at Smith Elementary, especially because I was once a Smith student myself! Being back truly feels like coming home, and it’s an honor to give back to the school that helped shape who I am today.

This is my fourth-year teaching 4th grade at Smith, and I absolutely love this age group. I’m passionate about building strong, positive relationships with my students and creating a classroom environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn.

Outside of the classroom, I love traveling with my husband, going on long walks with our dogs, and cooking new recipes together at home. I’m looking forward to an amazing school year filled with growth, laughter, and memorable moments!
