Hey there! My name is Sama Akl, but you can call Miss A.

I’m so excited to be teaching fourth grade this year! As a proud Frisco ISD graduate, it’s incredibly special for me to be back in the district that inspired my passion for teaching.

I recently graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Child Learning & Development and Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas. I have a deep appreciation for the “why” behind how children learn and grow. Because of this, I’m dedicated to creating a supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels empowered to succeed.

I can’t wait to get to know each and every one of my students, and their families, as we embark on this exciting school year together!
