At Frisco ISD, the Digital Learning Coach assists teachers in using technology effectively for assessing student learning, differentiating instruction, and providing rigorous, relevant, and engaging learning experiences for all students. Digital Learning Coaches conduct needs assessments, develop technology-related professional learning programs, and evaluate the impact on instructional practice and student learning.

Penney Matos was a classroom teacher for 13 years before transitioning to be a Digital Learning Coach in 2009. Both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees are from the University of North Texas. Supporting teachers in integrating technology into their classes in a meaningful and engaging way is her passion.

Kristy McCoy spent many years teaching CTE courses at the high school level before becoming a Digital Learning Coach for Frisco ISD in 2010.
