Try-It Instrument Days
Attending Try-It Day is a great way for students to actually hold, play, and experience playing the band and orchestra instruments for themselves. While students have an idea of what they THINK it may be like, this opportunity is the only chance they have to truly find out if there's an instrument that interests them or not. I highly recommend it for every single child! If they find an instrument they love, then we know it's an option for them. If they try them all and show no interest, then we know choir, art, or theater may be a better fit. Regardless, it's amazing that they have the chance to try them all and know for sure what they would like to do!
