Welcome, I am so glad you are here! My name is Kimberly Laker and this is my fourth year of teaching!

I graduated in May, 2022 with a bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Texas Tech University. In my free time I love to go out for runs and cook. My love for teaching children started from a young age when I was a volleyball coach for a local youth league. From there I learned about how big of an influence older people can have on children. This is part of the reason that I wanted to be a teacher. I want to make a positive impact on the students that I have. When in a classroom I want to have a class that is more like a family. It is my goal to help the students learn to cooperate with each other while also growing a love for learning and education.
