Liscano 5th Grade Families,

My name is Kayla Hennigan. I am BEYOND excited to be at Liscano and with the fabulous 5th-grade team. This is such an exciting year for you, and I cannot wait to be your teacher. 

I was born in Houston, Texas, and graduated from Texas Tech University (Wreck' Em!) with my Bachelor degree in Multidisciplinary Studies in 2019. This will be my 7th year as a 5th-grade Reading teacher. This past summer, my husband and I welcomed our baby boy, Lane Michael Hennigan. We have a mischievous cat named Thumper and an energetic dog named Oakley. I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, playing (winning) a good board game, and attending concerts. 

I cannot wait to make this your BEST year yet!
