Volleyball tryouts will be held on August 13-15, 2025 during the Athletic Period and after school until 5:15 PM. Cuts will be made on August 15th after school. Athletes must attend ALL tryout dates to be considered for making the team unless granted an exception by the Athletic Coordinator. Exceptions will only be granted for extreme unavoidable situations.

Tryout Attire: Issued athletic gear, athletic shoes (no vans or converse), white or black socks, hair up, no jewelry (no exceptions), knee pads (we have extra for athletes to borrow). 

Tryouts will take place during the class period and after school until 5:15 PM. Athletes should be picked up no later than 5:30 PM.

The following skills will be evaluated at tryouts: Passing, setting, serving, hitting, game situations, work ethic, attitude, and teamwork.

There will be a parent meeting for any athlete that makes a volleyball team on Monday, August 18th at 5:15 PM in the Griffin Main Gym. If your daughter makes a volleyball team, please plan on attending this meeting.
