This will be my 7th year teaching and coaching at Griffin! I will teach PE, Strength & Conditioning, and Girls Athletics this year. I graduated from Texas A&M University (whoop!) with a bachelor's in School Health. I recently graduated from Lamar University with my Master's in Teacher Leadership. When I am not teaching or coaching, I enjoy shopping, watching/attending any Aggie sports, crafting, and spending time with family & our newly adopted fur baby, Remi!

This is my first year teaching and coaching and I could not be more excited. I just recently moved to Frisco, after living in a small town right outside of Tyler for 16 years. I graduated in December of 2024 with a degree in Psychology and Biology from ETBU, and I am currently working on my Masters in Forensic Science. I will be teaching Health/Leadworthy and coaching volleyball, track, and basketball! In my free time I love to read, hang with friends, family and my dog, and lay by the pool. I am so ecstatic for this opportunity!!

This will be my 13th year teaching and 5th year at Griffin.  I will be teaching Advanced Algebra 1 and coaching volleyball, basketball and track. I am so excited to get back into coaching! I previously taught math and coached volleyball, basketball and soccer in San Antonio. I graduated from the University of Houston in 2011 with a B.S in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on 4-8 Mathematics. I am currently working on getting my masters in Curriculum and Instruction from UT Arlington. My husband and I celebrated our 10-year anniversary last fall. When I'm not coaching or teaching math, I love spending time with my nieces and nephews, reading, watching musical theater, and playing golf.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Human Movement from LSU and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Louisiana College. With four years of experience as a PE teacher & coach, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for inspiring student athletes. This year, I will be expanding my teaching repertoire by instructing 6th-grade science. In addition to the classroom, I’ll be coaching volleyball, basketball, & soccer. Beyond my profession, I personally enjoy participating in sports & recreation activities, reading, & traveling globally with my son.

I was born and raised in San Antonio. I grew up playing many sports, but played soccer throughout high school. After high school, I attended Midwestern State University, in Wichita Falls, where I received my bachelor's in Kinesiology. After graduating, I moved to Frisco to begin my student teaching. I am now in my 13th year of teaching at Purefoy Elementary as the PE coach. This will be my 11th year coaching soccer at Griffin. My wife Tiffany and I got married in 2012. We have a 7-year-old named Ellie, a 4-year-old named Bennett, and two dogs named Abby and Leo. When I am not hanging out with them, I enjoy playing indoor soccer, riding my bike, and playing golf.
