Hi Christie students and family! I am so excited to join Christie’s team for my first year with Frisco ISD. I graduated in 2024 from the University of Texas at Dallas with my master’s degree in speech and language pathology.
All of my childhood summers were spent with family in Guadalajara, Mexico. I am a proud Mexican American who grew up as a simultaneous bilingual. I grew up here in Collin County. I have a daughter who is a second grader at Comstock here in Frisco ISD. During my free time, I love to spend time with my family, swim, watch movies, and enjoy our community. I am thrilled to serve you and your family!

Hi, my name is Negar Alavi, Christie General Education/ SLC Speech-Language Pathologist. I am so excited to start another year at Christie Elementary.
I earned my master’s degree at California State University, East Bay. Previously, I worked as a university professor teaching linguistics. I love working with SLC students and AAC users; helping them be able to communicate and reach their full potential is so rewarding.
I am a native Farsi speaker and love learning about different languages and cultures. I have a 7-year-old son who keeps me busy in my free time! I love going swimming and biking with him.
I look forward to partnering together. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
