Kindergarten Carpool is dismissed on the East side of the building by the playground. There are two lanes of traffic and a teacher will bring your child to you. Please do not get out of your car. Please practice patience and use caution during dismissal. Safety is our number one priority as we dismiss over 700 students at once.

Walking
Walking
If your child is walking home, they may meet a parent or sibling in the front of the building. Please use the marked crosswalks when crossing the street.

Phillips Creek Ranch walkers will dismiss by the playground and be escorted across the crosswalk to the track at the top of the stairs.

After School Care/Bus

A teacher will escort your child to the appropriate After School Care or Bus.

*It is easier for us to get your child safely where they need to be if you are consistent with your dismissal schedule. If you need to change your mode of transportation, please email your child's teacher or notify the office by noon.

Rainy Day Dismissal Information
Rainy Day Dismissal Information
In the event that we have rainy day dismissal, we will hold your children inside the building and walk them out one at a time. Carpool teachers will have umbrellas and walk each child to their car. Please stay in your car in the carpool line to help things move more smoothly. Please remember it will take a longer amount of time to do this so everyone must be patient. It is our goal to keep your children safe and comfortable so when dismissing over 700 students on a rainy day, it will take longer. In some rare cases, we may even hold all students in the building for a few minutes if it is raining very hard or lightning. Take extra caution when merging to the left lane of traffic because there will not be a teacher directing traffic. If you have a dismissal change, please let the office know as soon as possible.
