My name is Amy Swiney. I am starting my 22nd year of teaching. I have always loved being around children and worked in a child development center through high school and college.  I feel blessed to have a job that brings joy to my life every day, and one where I can make an impact on the lives of students. You might describe me as the "cheerleader type." I have a lot of energy and love to be on the go. I like to do chants, cheers, perform, and dance in my class and on stage at Good Morning Bledsoe. I call my class "Swiney's Sweeties" and I love filling our classroom with love, laughter and FUN! In my free time, I like to plant flowers, mow my yard, shop, workout, attend sporting events, go to Disney World and spend time with my friends and my yorkie, Bentley. I grew up in Royse City and graduated from the University of North Texas. I am a HUGE Longhorn fan though.  What a blessing it is to be at Bledsoe and teach Kindergarten!
