Hello there! My name is Wendi Khan.  I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Go MEAN GREEN! I am from a family of educators. My mom is  a retired special education teacher and my sister currently is an elementary art teacher in Denton. 

This will be my 19th year teaching kindergarten, and my 18th year at Bledsoe. Kindergarten is such a joy to teach! Students are filled with wonder as they learn, and make incredible growth over the year.  I am privileged to work with each student, getting to know them and guide their families through this pivotal year of learning. 

I grew up down the road in The Colony, Texas and married my high school sweetheart, Sami in 2007.  Our daughter, Sophie, was born in February 2010 and our son, Oliver, was born in June 2016. Sophie is in 8th grade at Pearson, and Oliver is in second grade at Bledsoe.  

In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, spending time with family and playing with our dogs, Scout and Sina.
