Hi! I’m Jennifer Lazar, and I am thrilled to be part of the third-grade team for the 2026-2027 school year! A proud native Texan, I was born and raised in North Dallas before earning my degree from California State University San Marcos in Southern California.

With 23 years of teaching experience, I’m beginning my 22nd school year at Ashley. I’ve taught multiple grade levels and built lasting connections with students and families over the years. Every new school year brings fresh opportunities, and I’m looking forward to learning, growing, and celebrating successes with this year’s third graders. 

Outside the classroom, I enjoy the Fine Arts, especially attending musicals and concerts. I also love Pilates, which has become one of my favorite ways to recharge.  I have been married for 24 years and have two wonderful children, along with a furry forever toddler, a mini-goldendoodle named Winnie. Thank you for the privilege of partnering with you in your child’s education. I’m looking forward to a wonderful school year ahead!
