Hi! I’m Jennifer Lazar, and I am thrilled to be part of the third-grade team for the 2025–2026 school year! A proud native Texan, I was born and raised in North Dallas and later earned my degree from California State University San Marcos in Southern California.

With 23 years of teaching experience-and about to begin my 21st year at Ashley—I’ve taught multiple grade levels and built lasting connections with students and families over the years. Every school year brings new energy, and I’m genuinely excited for the journey ahead with our amazing third graders.

Outside of the classroom, I’m passionate about the Fine Arts. Whether it’s attending a musical or enjoying a live concert, I love anything that celebrates creativity and expression. I’ve also recently discovered a love for Pilates, which has quickly become one of my favorite ways to recharge. I have been married to my husband Kirk for 23 years, and we have two incredible children, Lauren and Daniel, plus our furry forever toddler, a mini-goldendoodle named Winnie. Thank you for the privilege of partnering with you in your child’s educational journey. I’m looking forward to an incredible year ahead!
