Mrs. Jackson

Hi! My name is Tanisha Jackson, and I am so excited to welcome you to third grade! I graduated from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas, and I am thrilled to be beginning my 10th year teaching at Ashley Elementary.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, trying delicious food, watching movies, playing games, going for walks, and baking. I am also a proud fan of “America’s Team”—the Dallas Cowboys! How ’bout them Cowboys!

I am a huge fan of I Love Lucy and Lucille Ball, and I enjoy watching classic television shows such as Bewitched and Little House on the Prairie. I have been married to my incredible husband, Will, for 18 years, and we are blessed with three children: Nicholas (16), Nathan (12), and Natalie (4).

I am looking forward to an amazing year filled with learning, growth, laughter, and wonderful memories. I can’t wait to partner with you and support your child throughout an exciting year in third grade!
