There are a limited number of scholarships available to eligible:
- Law enforcement officers
- Rape crisis center victim advocates
- Rape crisis center prevention educators
- Prosecutors
- Victim advocates working within prosecutor's office
Scholarships are awarded based on eligibility, are limited to available funds, and are processed in the order in which applications are received. Scholarships can be requested upon registering and must be completed by February 18, 2019. Notifications will be made on February 20, 2019.
Please note- there are no scholarships available for registration fees. You must register before you can request a scholarship.
Scholarships available:
- Travel (Mileage reimbursement is .50/mile.)
- Lodging (If you receive a lodging scholarship, your lodging reservation will be made by FRIS.)
- Per Diem (Overnight lodging is required)
Scholarship reimbursement requests must be submitted no later than April 19, 2019 and will be processed in the order they are received. Reimbursement sheets can be turned in at the registration table the day of the training.
Agencies that currently receive VAWA and/or VOCA funding should get conference preapproval from their DJCS Grant Program Manager and may be required to use those funds in lieu of a scholarship.
