The West Virginia Foundation for Rape Information and Services (FRIS) is West Virginia's state sexual assault coalition. Our vision is to eliminate sexual violence and stalking and to alleviate the suffering of those who have been victimized.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month will begin in WV with the 19th Annual Sexual Assault and Stalking Symposium! This one-day training provides an opportunity to learn more about providing a trauma-informed response in sexual assault cases, as well as emerging issues related to sexual violence.
The Symposium is essential for law enforcement, campus security, victim advocates, SANEs, medical personnel, prosecutors, SART members, college campus staff, social workers, counselors, disability service providers and corrections staff.
