The Friends of Pacific City State Airport is a 501(c)(3) organization.  Help us out with a donation.  For example, make a $20 donation and receive a "Supporter" decal to hang on your home, auto, or airplane window, or add it to your aviation decal collection in your hangar.  While we prefer a donation made via a check (no online processing fees for us) we want to make donating easy for you.

Borrow an airport bicycle and leave a donation at the airport to help us maintain and purchase bicycles of all sizes. 

Examples of What Donations Make Possible

CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS

Help us to cover our costs to maintain and improve the airport as an all-volunteer organization.  Here are a few of capital improvements that individuals, businesses, clubs and organizations can support with a donation: 

• Larger bike shed - a Tillamook PUD grant provided the funds to purchase a small bike shed that holds 6 bicycles. We'd love to replace it with a large shed that can hold at least a dozen bicycles.  We could also use more bicycles and helmets.

• Benches for the picnic area

• Information Sign - there's a small information sign near the pilot sign-in box.  We'd like to add a larger information kiosk near the restrooms. 

MEMORIAL DONATIONS

We have been honored to receive donations in memory of pilots Bob Rissel, Dick Foreman and Tom Pileggi.  Consider a donation to honor the passing of a loved one or friend. You can also make a gift in honor of a pilot who values and supports the unique coastal airport in Pacific City. 

BOB RISSEL FLIGHT TRAINING SCHOLARSHIP

Help Friends of KPFC to present flight training scholarships to youth in Tillamook County. The flight training program is coordinated by the Tillamook County Civil Air Patrol. 

AIRPORT ASSET MAINTENANCE & GENERAL FUND

Our nonprofit organization buys many of the supplies to stock and clean the 2 toilets at the airport.  Our volunteers regularly service the bicycles made available to visiting pilots. Friends of KPFC hosts an annual work party to maintain and improve the airport. A donation to our general fund helps to cover some of these necessary costs. All donations are greatly appreciated. We hope to some day host "fish fry" events, like in the past, as a way to raise funds to improve our airport.  Let us know if you'd like an invitation!
