GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN TEACHING AND LEARNING IN HIGHER EDUCATION

This course introduces different teaching and learning approaches and strategies to enhance student learning engagement and outcomes. The course also examines how ICT is integrated into teaching and learning practices to enhance student learning engagement and outcomes. On completion of this course, participants will understand the relationship between student learning and teaching; apply the different teaching and learning approaches and strategies to conduct an interactive class; and improve their teaching through reflective practices. Participants will also understand the opportunities provided by ICT (learning management system, student response system, e-portfolios, discussion forums and blogs) to enhance the quality of teaching and learning; and design ICT-enabled teaching and learning activities.
