GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN TEACHING AND LEARNING IN HIGHER EDUCATION

This course examines the role assessment plays in learning, the introduction of different types of assessment and assessment rubrics, and how to provide timely and useful feedback. Participants will be introduced to the relationship between assessment and teaching and learning. On completion of this course, participants will understand the principles and role of assessment of and for learning; apply the key concepts in designing assessment; acquire methods and techniques for providing useful feedback; and develop assessment rubrics.
