Honors Legal and Fiscal Theory
By the end of the course, students will...
understand how society and the individual are impacted by our legal and fiscal system
gain a theoretical understanding of the basic tenets of civil and criminal law along with financial literacy
understand, analyze, and synthesize material that directly impacts you and your place within the American society

AP US History II

Gain the analytical skills and factual knowledge necessary to critically analyze and evaluate major themes in American history from 1890 to the present day
Explore and examine different historical interpretations and perspectives
Emerge with the knowledge and skills to be successful on the AP exam, as well as informed individuals who are able to meet the demands of life beyond the classroom in the 21st century

Honors Business and Contract Law
By the end of the course, students will...
understand law and its effect and relationship to people and business
comprehend why these laws were written and how they are applied to business transactions in order to become a productive individual in society
explore the government’s role in regulating and monitoring businesses
gain an understanding of why and how contracts are used in business
Sample learning experiences:
Assume the role of an attorney as you draft contracts (for athletes, health club memberships, and more) and prepare court statements (as you represent Babe Ruth or prosecute Exxon)

Honors Senior Seminar
By the end of the course, students will...
