What is an IB Education?

IB Course Pathway Chart Class of 2029 and 2030

New for the Class of 2025 (and subsequent classes)

Starting with the Class of 2025, parents/guardians will be responsible for IB exam fees, which are administered in either junior or senior year (depending on the course). As of the May 2021 exams, fees are $124 per exam. IB students take 5-6 exams (approximately $744).

State regulations recognize that households of certain sizes and with annual incomes at or near federal poverty limits qualify for reduced tuition fees. Eligible parents/guardians may contact the IB Program Coordinator for more information.

Prospective IB Student Prompts

All prospective students are encouraged to consider the Prospective IB Student Reflection Prompts prior to meeting with the DP Coordinator or School Counselor.

Responses do not need to be written and will not be collected. Rather, they are intended to open conversation, promote self-reflection, and help us get to know you as we plan your pathway toward the IB Diploma.

The IB Letter of Intent

Required for Non-FTHS students entering the IB Program as rising ninth graders. This must be submitted through the parent portal in Genesis prior to scheduling.

IB Candidate Agreement Form

Required of all students prior to registering for DP courses beginning in junior year. This must be submitting through the parent portal in Genesis prior to scheduling.
