Are you a new student? If yes, your username is your school's number (1=Freehold Boro, 2=Freehold Twp, 3=Howell, 4=Manalapan, 5=Marlboro, 7=Colts Neck), your graduation year, your first initial, and last name.Â
Your initial password is capital first initial, lower-case last initial, and student ID number.Â
For example, if my name is John Smith, I go to Freehold Twp, I am graduating in 2025, and my ID number is 2512345 then my username/email address is 225jsmith@frhsd.com and my initial password is Js2512345
More information can be found here.
Are you a returning student? If yes, your username and password have not been changed.

You may be receiving a TON of email notifications from Google Classroom. These are turned on by default for every class that you are a student in.
The problem with this is it can fill up your inbox and you might miss other important messages. The good news is you can change these settings at any time. Here is how to select what you get emails for:
Go to your Dashboard at classroom.google.com
Scroll to the bottom to Settings (gear icon)
Scroll down to Notifications
From here you can:
Turn on/off ALL notifications entirely
Turn on/off notifications for specific classes
Turn on/off notifications for specific types of actions
You can choose to receive only SOME notifications from Google Classroom. Here is a list of all the different types of notifications you can receive from Google Classroom:
To know when:
Someone comments on your post
Turn on: Comments on your post
Someone mentions you in a post or comment
Turn on: Comments that mention you
A teacher sends you a private comment
Turn on: Private comments on work
A teacher creates an assignment, question, or announcement
Turn on: Work and other posts from teachers
A teacher grades or returns work
Turn on: Returned work and grades from your teachers
A teacher invites you to a new class
Turn on: Invitations to join classes as a student
You have unsubmitted work that's due within 24 hours
Turn on: Due-date reminders for your work
Did you accidentally delete a file from your Google classroom? No worries! You can get it back. You can make yourself a new copy by going to assignment details and selecting "Make a copy."Â
Did the work already? Don't worry, it's not lost. Go to the assignment details, click "Add or create", select Google Drive, and your assignment will still be there- right up top in your recent files.
Unfortunately you cannot remove yourself from a Google Classroom. You need to email the teacher or the advisor and ask them to remove you. (You can move the Classroom tiles around the homepage though so that Classrooms that you are not active in any longer, can be dragged to the bottom of the page. And you can archive Google Classrooms now.)
There are 3 options:
If you are sharing files with someone in FRHSD, share the file with them by clicking the "Share" button within the file and typing their name in. Decide whether you want them to be an editor (they can type into it and change it) or just a viewer.
If you are sharing with many people in FRHSD, click the "Share" button within the file. At the bottom of the box, where it says "General access", change from "Restricted" to "Freehold Regional High School District". Decide whether you want them to be an editor (they can type into it and change it) or just a viewer.
If you are sharing with someone outside of FRHSD, a Google file can be downloaded as PDF, image, and/or Microsoft file. Within the file, click on the "File" tab and then "Download". Once something is downloaded though, it will no longer be updated if the original file is changed.
This pdf "Seniors--How to Take Your Files with You" gives you several options to remove files from your Google Drive.
This file "Google Takeout How To" gives step by step directions to remove your files.
