WHAT IS IT? Nearpod allows teachers to create digital lesson plans, share it with students during class, and track individual progress. Lessons are comprised of teacher-created slides that can include text, video, images, websites, questions, quizzes, polls, and assignments. Students are able to follow the lesson on their own devices at their own pace or teachers can lead a synchronized session where students can follow the lesson in real-time.

Under NYS ED Law 2D, any software where the vendor that has not signed our Data Privacy Agreement CANNOT be used by any staff or student in the school district.
If you are interested in a new program, you must make the request using the process below. PLEASE CHECK the Inventory page PRIOR TO FILLING OUT THE REQUEST FORM.
Upon submission the district data team will contact the vendor and request them to review and sign our District Data Privacy Agreement.
NOTE: Until this agreement is in place, the software cannot be used with any K-12 students.
