Things to See and Do

Some landforms that are found in Petrified Forest that are an amazing sight to see are canyons, plateaus, bridges also known as arches, cliffs, and mountain peaks. Water reservoirs that are found in the park are lakes, rivers, and dry waterfalls. Plants and animals that you might see in the park are Deer Mice (endangered species), various birds, lizards, rabbits, and maybe even a snake! When you aren't observing the petrified wood other things you can do include going to the Museum Demonstration Lab, going for a nice hike, doing other guided activities, backpacking, biking, or even horseback riding!
