We are a local Parent Teacher Association (PTA) that is organized by interested parents and teachers. Our PTA is recognized and in good-standing with the North Dakota Congress of Parents and Teachers (NDPTA), a branch of the National Congress of Parents and Teachers (National PTA). The Freedom Elementary PTA by-laws govern the association.
Our mission is to:
Promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship;
Raise the standards of home life;
Secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth;
Bring into closer relation the home and school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth;
Develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
The PTA Board Only Meetings are monthly, typically the first Tuesday of each month.
The PTA General Meetings, which are open to members and public, for the 2025-2026 year will be from 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM at the Freedom Elementary School Library on:
