At Freedom Elementary we want to foster an atmosphere of community, fun and inclusion. We believe that everyone has something to offer, whether its two time a year or a weekly volunteer role, our hope is to help parents and community members connect with our Freedom Elementary students, teachers and staff. There are 3 ways to get involved:

Getting involved is as easy as reaching out to volunteercoordinator@freedompta.net and/or completing this Volunteer Form!
Being a Volunteer through WFPS requires a background check. Please follow this link to submit your information so we can get you started right away!
Involvement in the Support Squad will require a Background check and agreement form.
As a member in the PTA's Support Squad, you can serve as a:
Lunch Buddy: Spend time with students during their lunch period, providing companionship and positive interaction. No cleaning or discipline!
Recess Buddy: Engage with students during recess, organize games, and ensure everyone is included and having fun. No need to discipline.
Morning Walk & Talk: Walk with students around the school grounds before classes start, engaging in casual conversations to help them feel relaxed and ready for the day.
Morning Greeter: Welcome students at the school entrance with a friendly smile and positive words, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere to start their day.
The Freedom Elementary PTA hosts numerous events and supports Freedom Elementary with many other events for students and staff. Volunteering your time to help make sure these events are successful is greatly appreciated!
