All school year, we have been doing monthly service projects to further connect with our cooperative culture curriculum in the classroom and build a spirit of kindness and giving! I would like to continue the projects by inviting you to participate this May for the final project of the school year! I would like everyone to try to make and send THANK YOU cards to local healthcare workers at doctor's offices, hospitals, and nursing homes, or any other place you can think of.... these healthcare workers are fighting every day to save lives! Also, try to send THINKING OF YOU cards to residents at local nursing homes, who are currently shut in and cannot receive any visitors... a very lonely time for the residents. SEND SOME LOVE TO OUR LOCAL HEALTHCARE WORKERS AND NURSING HOME RESIDENTS! Students, you made cards for Veterans Day for local veterans and Valentine's Day for nursing home residents earlier this year so it's time to get creative and thoughtful again with your beautiful pictures and heartfelt words!! :)
