Any junior or senior interested in attending a four year college or university.
The SAT/ACT is typically not required for attending community colleges or trade schools
How do I sign up?
For the SAT, visit the College Board website, create an account, and pick your date!
For the ACT, visit the ACT website, create an account, and pick your date!
Arrive at Least 15 Minutes Before Testing Begins
Calculator (see collegeboard.org and act.org for approved calculators)
Test Admission Ticket and a Photo I.D. (if you do not have a license you can ask your school to print out your school picture with your demographics)
Computer (Fully charged and bring charging cord just in case)
Extra #2 Pencils
Water/Snacks if needed
Who should take it?
Advanced Placement classes are offered in English 11, Calculus AB & BC, Statistics, Computer Science, Government, Psychology, Biology, Environmental Science and Physics. Students enrolling in these classes are able to take the Advanced Placement examination, which affords them the opportunity to earn college credit or advanced placement in college classes. These courses all require applications and are open to anyone interested in applying!
AP exam fees are $104.00 per course. Full reimbursement of the AP exam fee is made to students who score 3 or above on their exams.
How do I know if a college will accept an Advanced Placement test score in place of a college course?
