Hello! I am Mrs. LaScala. This is my 19th year of teaching, and I have had the privilege to teach here at Reutter the past 9 years. I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade English Language Arts this year. I have a passion for reading and getting my students interested in exploring new novels. I just celebrated my 18th wedding anniversary with my extraordinary husband, Michael. We are blessed with an incredible son named Cooper who loves video games and Hawaiian King Rolls (I swear that's all he eats anymore!). Candy: Anything chocolate (except white...eww!)

Drink: Starbucks or Dunkin' Coffee (cream and caramel swirl in case you wanted to know)

Food: Italian (Chicken Parm), Indian (Tikka Masala), Chinese (Singapore Mei Fun)

Music: Mostly old school country (think George Strait), but lately my new favorite has been Old Dominion.

Flower: Tiger Lily

Stores: Michael's, Target, Starbucks

Hobbies: Traveling, gardening, music, movies and documentaries, Disney, cruising, playing video games with my son, karaoke, drama club
