ELA Resources

Below are a list of links to resources that will be helpful to both students and parents/guardians throughout the school year. These resources can provide support and extra practice for students in a variety of areas relating to the language arts curriculum. Students should familiar with these links, but please reach out if you have any questions!

Google Classroom

Google Classroom is the 'home' for all assignments and various resources that are given throughout the year. Please pay close attention to the organized topics listed along the left side of the 'Classwork' page in order to frequently track your child's academic progress.


Scholastic Storyworks

Includes multi-genre stories with a variety of accompanying resources to support and strengthen literacy skills in reading, writing, and cross-curricular concepts.


i-Ready

An online reading program that provides students with an individualized learning path that is used to assess growth throughout the year, determine students' needs, and personalize learning goals. Students are required to pass (2) 'Reading' iReady lesson per week.


Blooket / Kahoot

A quiz-style compilation of trivia and review content that allows students to gain content knowledge by joining pre-populated quizzes or by creating their own!

NewsELA

A literary-focused platform that provides free access to thousands of content / resources in English and Spanish.
