Students from across all grade levels at RMS recently submitted exciting, new writing pieces for the 2nd annual Remdawg Writing Contest this year. Our "Top Dawgs" this year are included here in the Remdawg Literary Gazette for your own reading enjoyment.

Narrative writing winners include: first place: Kathryn R's "Locked", second place Maggie L's ' "A Year Like No Other". The third place winner is "Dear Diary..." by Sarah A, and last but not least, the fourth place winner is Abigail S's "Wolf Pack".

Our essay winners include first place: "How I learned Bravery" by Kayla H, second place, "What has the pandemic taught us?" by Gavin W, and finally, third place goes to Ava S's "Turning Your House into a home".

Our poetry first place winner is Ryan S's "Fallen Soldier". Second place goes to "Tale of our Heart" by Tuhina P, third place is Emilia Cr's "The Ability to Fly", and finally, fourth place goes to Ava S's "Our Year".

Congratulations to all of the students who entered this year's contest. The writing was amazing. Everyone is receiving a certificate, the top entries are published here for you to read, and the first and second place winners will receive a gift card.
