This is supposed to be a "stress-free" class. Students are here for extra help and support. There are no homework or frequent assessments. Assessments (benchmarks, tests, quizzes, projects) in this class are used to determine areas of strengths and weaknesses. It will allow the teacher to determine what kind of support a student will need to improve their math skills.

Students will work at their own pace. Therefore, there may be times when a student may not be working on the same assignment as their classmates. There may be skills some students will need more time and practice than other students.
