Matt Walters

In 2013 the Franklin County Wrestling Program lost one of their own. Matt Walters lost his life in a car accident on his way home. Every year the Franklin County High Wrestling team gives out a Walk like Walters award. This award is given to a wrestler who comes in on time everyday and works hard. They are loyal and persevere through even the hardest of practices. They are kind to others in success and defeat. We try and give out the award to a wrestler who reminds us of how Matt was when he wrestled for Franklin County High. We would like to thank David and Andrea for helping and continuing to be apart of our program here at Franklin County High School. 

Matt Walters will always be a part of our program.
