Interviews

In 2021, African American history scholar Dr. Le Datta Grimes, and filmmaker Joanna Hay, interviewed 10 individuals about their experiences planning and attending the 1964 March on Frankfort.  These activists were in their teens and twenties at the time and their reflections bring the day, and its subsequent impact, to life. These interviews are archived at the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History.
