Emily Reeves
As the school’s link early practitioner my role is to represent the Early Help service in RBKC - we aim to help families when difficulties first begin so that we can support you with finding solutions quickly and preventing things getting worse.
I can provide support to parents and families on a number of things including (but not limited to): parenting, wellbeing (for parents and children), school attendance, child behaviour concern (at school and/or at home), accessing local services and activities (including financial advice, employment advice, domestic abuse support, housing support and access to children’s activities), school transition and young carers. Support can also be given to non-RBKC residents and referrals made to other services where necessary.
If you would like further information please contact me direct via email emily.reeves@rbkc.gov.uk or phone 07977348626.
Jacqui Drake
My role at St Francis , and in the other schools in the collaboration, is to provide support to children and their families when there are any issues or concerns that are impacting on family life or a child reaching their full potential. I can provide support on issues such as managing change in the family, (whether this is due to parental separation, bereavement or moving home); working on challenges within the family (whether emotional or practical) and on parenting issues. I am also a good sounding board.
My work with families is confidential, but I work alongside families to think about what information it would be helpful to share, and with whom, as this is beneficial to ensuring a child’s needs remains the focus. The exception to this would be if I have concerns of a safeguarding nature, and I am worried that a child or adult is at immediate risk. If you need any further clarification about this, please do ask.
I appreciate for some people reaching out for support isn't always easy and can be daunting. However, please be assured I am good at seeing the strengths within a family too, and can offer support at a frequency that fits in with the family. Whatever your worry or concern, do get in touch and we can think together about what may be helpful going forward. I am able to meet families in school or at home.
My working days at St Francis and the other schools across the association are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I can be contacted directly via email on j.drake@serviteprimaryschool.co.uk or you can leave a message for me at the school office.
