What does it mean to be a good citizen while in Drama?

  • Come to class on time and ready to work – this means in the door, belonging put away, chromebook in parking lot and sitting in your seat.
  • Participate fully – this means attempting to accomplish all tasks that are being taught
  • Expect the format of the class to change on a daily basis – this means that there might be some times when you are sitting on the floor, some of the time you are in chair taking and some times that you are in the performance space
  • Bring your chromebook and a pen or pencil to class everyday
  • Arrange to meet me after school, before school or at lunch if you need extra help
  • Contact me in person or through e-mail – sdoucette@framingham.k12.ma.us if you have a question or concern.
  • Take risks – this means allow yourself to try something out of your comfort zone in order to grow as a performer and as a person
  • Trust me and your classmates – this is a safe space to be yourself, experiment and make mistakes without judgement
  • We use our voice everyday; therefore, NO GUM!
  • Please don't say "I don't know." or "I can't." Change your mindset and challenge yourself to be creative and find an answer or solution
  • You may bring a water bottle. All other food, candy, gum must be enjoyed outside of the classroom.
  • Avoid disrespect, inappropriate behavior, inappropriate or distasteful language, or hurtful speech directed at yourself or others
  • Please tell me if something or someone is making you feel uncomfortable in our class or outside. I will listen and do my best to help.
