6th Grade Curriculum

6th Grade students that are not enrolled in Instrumental Music including Band and Orchestra, participate in our World Stage program. This includes: Drama, Arts in SEL and Chorus. Student will have one trimester of each for one day per schedule rotation. These students will have ten classes in each discipline.

Drama Class for our 6th graders includes:

• Introduction to Stage Basics

• Theatre Etiquette

• Puppetry

• Mask Making

• Theatre Games and Dramatic Play

Students do not need to have any prior knowledge of Drama or theatrical experience. Our goal is to strengthen communication and team building skills as well as providing a window into the world of Theatre.
