Clubs

Social Justice Club

The Social Justice Club is a community where we celebrate all identities and the intersections of social justice issues so that we can be the most effective in creating change. Our biggest event, Social Justice Week (SJW), is a week of presentations and discussions that have a goal to educate students and faculty on the issues involving basic human rights. The distinctiveness of SJW is the teaching of cultural competency through the real, diverse human experiences within Farmington.

Asian American Student Union

Our mission is to create a community of Asian Americans in FHS to explore experiences, culture, and intersectionality with other communities, ultimately empowering students to advocate for racial justice and celebrate our identities.

Black Student Union

The BSU prides ourselves on working to make race a comfortable topic of conversation and creating a welcoming environment for all. Established in 2017, we value the thoughts and opinions of all of our members and encourage respectful discourse in our meetings. Anyone and everyone is welcomed here regardless of race, religion, or political affiliation.

Gender & Sexuality Alliance

Jewish Student Union

To promote the understanding of the Jewish religion and ethnicity through presentations and immersive activities, promoting religious unity in the process.

LatinX Culture Club

We celebrate the variety of cultures within the Latin community, helping others see the world from a different perspective.

Mental Health Awareness

To help spread awareness of mental health and mental health issues within the FHS community.

Multicultural Student Union

The Multicultural Student Union is a student-led, service-based organization made to build a strong community of diversity and inclusion among a predominantly white area/school system. The MCSU is targeted towards promoting minorities of different ethnicities and religions, embracing the futures and importance of all cultures throughout our society, African (Americans), Hispanics, and Middle Eastern.

Muslim Student Union

Muslim Student Union hopes to foster a safe and positive environment for Muslim students. We also want to educate students and faculty through presentations and guest speakers, so we can promote conversation on topics such as Islamophobia, hijabi discriminations, and stereotypes.
