Below are descriptions for all the job opportunities for the convention. All jobs have shifts. Generally we have 3 hour shifts from 9 AM to 9 PM. Some days are less.
Airport Hospitality Crew - Help where needed to keep things running smoothly and help assembly participants. Bus goes from the Milwaukee Airport to the three hotels.
Arrival Airport Greeter/Usher (4 per shift) - Volunteers Meet and Greet GA guests and help with bus onboarding as directed by the leader. This job requires moving around and standing.
Baird Hospitality Crew - Help where needed to keep things running smoothly and help assembly participants.
D05. Baird Greeter/Assistant South - Volunteers Meet & Greet guests at the Baird Center South and assist as needed

Park: Pere Marquette (Speakers & Blacksmith)
CAD Baird Assistant (5) - Assist as able to with directing people, making sure things are working at the Baird Center Action Day Room
CAD Park Attendant (5) - keep a clean space; review park afterwards and manage lost and found.
CAD Park Guide (25) - keep a clean space; guide the group on the walk; and manage lost and found.
Approximately 22 coaches will take assembly participants to local churches. Ushers will direct people to the correct bus based on a pre-purchased ticket.
SW Bus Usher ON (4) - Volunteers STAND outside the Baird Center and assist guests to board correct bus.
SW Bus Usher Off (4) - Volunteers STAND outside the Baird Center and assist guests to exit the bus.
SW Church Guide - We strongly encourage each congregation to have guide at the Baird Center who will travel with the guests on the coach to the church and back. If you have more than 1 coach then please have more than 1 guide.
Pre-prep of bread - off site before Opening Worship
Location: Off site at a local church
Purchase Bread (appointed) - Presbytery of Milwaukee will purchase bread and juice.
Slice Bread (appointed) - Cut and freeze. Enough for about 1000 people.
Prep Bread and Juice on Monday before service starts
Located in a space behind the ballroom
Communion Bread Preparer (2) - Add pre-packaged cut bread to the plates and make ready to serve
Communion Juice Preparer (2) - Add juice to the cups and make ready to serve
During Worship
Communion Lead (appointed) - Coordinate volunteers to get the communion bread and juice ready for communion, using 20 communionware set. Coordinate runners for the 8 communion stations for empty plates/cups to replenish.
Communion Runners (8) - Run empty plates and cups back for replenish.
Communion Servers (16) - Serve Communion bread and juice - Be able to hold the cup or plate for the whole serving period.
OW Usher (8) - Help guests find a seat and hand out program, collect offering using baskets provided by GA
OW Greeter (8) - Greet guests and hand out program
OW Offering Assistant (8) - Collect Offering using baskets provided by GA
OW Liturgist - Worship Liturgist (appointed)
EW Usher (8) - Help guests find a seat and hand out program
EW Greeter (8) - Greet guests and hand out program
EW Offering Assistant (8) - Collect Offering using baskets provided by GA
EW Liturgist - Worship Committee to organize (appointed)
CW Usher (8) - Help guests find a seat and hand out program

Communionware Assistant (4) - Volunteers are at a table (SIT/STAND) in the Baird Hallway ready to distribute/sell communionware.
Departure Luggage Assistance (4 per shift) - Store luggage for guests in the Baird Luggage Room.
Departure Bus Usher (4 per shift) - Help participants board the bus to the airport from the Baird Center
