You asked yourself, what is Dies Fatalis? Well once a year, around 550 students gather under chandeliers and velvet curtains for an unforgettable night of elegance, laughter, and a little chaos. Some call it a celebration of the university, others just a very good excuse to party . Either way, it’s a night everyone remembers. Think glamour, secrets, and stories that echo through common rooms long after. Bring your best outfit, your curiosity, and get ready... Dies Fatalis always returns.
The Global Challenges Conference is an interdisciplinary, student-led event that brings together academics, professionals, and students to explore innovative responses to some of the world’s most pressing issues. It provides a space for dialogue and collaboration that inspires critical thinking, interdisciplinary engagement, and action-oriented solutions. Drawing inspiration from LUC’s six majors, the conference underscores the value of connecting diverse areas of knowledge.
The LUC Theatre committee puts on one production each year in May of a play, usually a drama. Some plays we have done in the past include ‘A Love Story’, ’The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane’, and ‘Murder in the Library’. Cast auditions for the spring play are in February, and rehearsals run throughout February-May.
Pantomime is a student committee that put together a show based on a known movie/show and we make it LUC! If you can picture Magic Mike you can picture our upcoming Panto!! Obviously you only know about the movie/show only on the d-day, 1st of December. I doubt you’ll guess right but isn’t it part of the game??!!
The night will be organised as followed: we host you in theatre De veste, you arrive at 7:30 DRESSED UP (ikyk), you enjoy THE show (that you’ll most certainly remember) and afterwards we want you to move it on Millers’ dance floor as much as the comedians moved it on stage. You go home at 2:30 and dream of the dream come true you just experienced!!
