Who Is Fortuna?
Fortuna is the student association of Leiden University College, The Hague, representing a vibrant and diverse community of over 600 students.
We’re here to support, inspire, and empower LUC students by creating space for everything that happens outside the classroom. From student-led committees to unforgettable events, we make sure there’s always something to explore, join, or create.
Whether you're new to LUC or a seasoned committee veteran, Fortuna is here to help you make the most of your time on campus and leave your mark on it!
What do we do?
At Fortuna, we make student life at Leiden University College The Hague come alive. We connect the LUC community through music, movement, activism, dialogue, and celebration, everything that happens beyond the classroom.
As LUC’s official student association, we empower over 30 student-led committees to create, organise, and lead activities across arts, media, performance, sports, culture, and more. Whether it’s unforgettable parties, meaningful debates, or creative projects, we turn student ideas into action.
Everything we do is by students, for students, building a vibrant campus driven by collaboration, creativity, and care.
