Pantomime

Pantomime is a magical evening of music, dance, and lots and lots of laughter! LUC students from all years and majors come together to create a musical parody based on a beloved Disney movie. The movie, of course, is a well-kept secret amongst the board, actors, and crew, only to be revealed on the night of the performance itself!  The Pantomime is an opportunity for the LUC community to come together before winter break to dress in our fanciest clothes, celebrate everything that makes our community unique, and make fun of our quirks and struggles. It is also an opportunity for the students of our community to express themselves creatively, or explore new talents for the first time. Whether that is fun costumes and colorful sets or singing and making people laugh, there’s a place in Pantomime for anyone who has a passion and a love for creativity and fun! If however performing and working on performance is not your thing, just sit back, relax, sing along, and try your best to guess the theme!

Hitch Hiking 'Thumbs Up'

LUC hitchhiking committee is responsible for planning biannual hitchhiking competitions during spring and autumn break. The destinations are beautiful cities within Europe chosen by the community itself through voting. The committee chooses a fantastic and affordable hostel in the destination city that you may choose to stay at. From which you can enjoy many fun-filled days with your fellow competitors.

People can participate in teams of two or three and the committee tracks their location throughout the competition for safety and ranking. Due to COVID-19, the autumn break competition is canceled but we hope to resume for spring break 2021. Do you like fun and adventure join us on our next trip for a chance to be crowned the hitchhiking champion of LUC.

Dies Fatalis

The Dies Fatalis marks the ending of the Academic Year. This event gives the LUC community the opportunity to celebrate this joyful occasion appropriately. It is the single biggest event at LUC. The synthesis of a theatre show and a gala makes for a night that attendees remember for years.

The show is filled with satire and humor and looks back on another amazing year at LUC that has gone by. Combined with the drinking and dancing towards the end of night, the show is popular among both students and staff. This year’s Dies will definitely be different due to COVID-19, but we are determined to make it at least as enjoyable!
